A vision board is a visualization of your desires, dreams, goals, projects or ideas about life. It is a tool to put your visions on paper with the help of images, illustrations or quotes to manifest them. In the end, it’s a collage, analog or digital, that contains all your wishful feelings.
The goal is to have all these wishes and visions so present (by hanging the vision board visibly on a wall you pass by often or digitally as a cell phone wallpaper) that you feel the feelings it radiates already today and don’t lose sight of your goals.
For this there are to the few „rules“:
- set realistic, concrete and achievable goals.
- order the goals by time span, for example at the bottom are all your basic life goals and then from the bottom to the top ascending in time. That is, at the top are the goals that you may not achieve for two, three or ten years.
Define your goals according to the following areas of life (of course, you don’t have to cover every area, so as not to overload the vision board too much, about three are enough):
- Partnership & Love
- Family & Friendship
- Money & Finances
- Professional Fulfillment
- Health & Sports
- Physical Environment & Place of Residence
- Vacation & Leisure
- Creativity
- Spirituality
- Social Commitment
For those who like to do handicrafts, I recommend the analog vision board on paper. Cut out pictures from magazines, add some text, decorate them with frames – let your creativity run wild! You can find plenty of inspiration for this on the Internet.
For everyone else, I recommend a digital vision board. Templates are available on Canva, for example. Choose one that is suitable as a background for your phone.
The important thing with both is that you have them regularly in your field of vision. Feel into it. Feel as if these goals have already arrived today. Take this positive feeling into your day and live it. Because manifesting is more than wishing for it. It is also, and especially, doing something about it. 🫶🏼
